Get me 10,000 views, 1,000 likes, 100 comments & 10 shares on LinkedIn and every time you get me this metrics, charge me 10k per piece of content.

This was proposed by a prospect after almost 2 hours into the meeting! Sheโ€™s running a very successful kids clothing brand, exporting to over 18 countries.

I politely declined her offer because
A.) We, at Kreative Machinez, donโ€™t work on this model (per piece basis) as it lacks of strategic focus for a long term marketing plan.

B.) I know for a fact, thatโ€™s a sure shot approach of failing and damaging brand reputation. Chasing numbers for numbers’ sake can result in content that feels inauthentic or “spammy,” potentially alienating the target audience and undermining trust.

But here’s what I shared while leaving

When you are making a post on LinkedIn. Take care of the following:-

1. Start with a very hilarious or an inquisitive first line.

2. Post content that is either informative, edutainment or an experience worth sharing- Tell a Story.

3. While writing, keep reminding yourself that you are writing this post to engage, to connect and to spark a conversation.

I call it : ๐ŸตThe Busy Trap๐Ÿ™‰

I feel being overly busy increases oneโ€™s chances of not succeeding.
– Are you very busy with work?
– sleeping less hours ?
– Not giving yourself some โ€œmeโ€ time?

It is a vicious cycle๐Ÿท

1. Chronic busyness โ†’ Poor sleep
2. Fatigue โ†’ Decreased focus
3. Decreased focus โ†’ Lower productivity
4. Lower productivity โ†’ Increased stress
5. Increased stress โ†’ More busyness

As a result:
โœ”๏ธYou Burnout,
โœ”๏ธLowers your creativity,
โœ”๏ธPoor decision-making,
โœ”๏ธand screw up your relationships with family, friends and colleagues.

Productivity is not about being busy; it’s about being effective.Take control of your schedule and well-being. Your success depends on it.

Do you agree that excessive busyness can be a recipe for disaster.

While decade-long goals are great, legacy brands like Hyatt think bigger – they write stories that last for 10 decades ๐Ÿ“š

Regular brands spend a decade:

โœ๏ธ Perfecting their core offering
โœ๏ธ Fighting for market share
โœ๏ธ Surviving quarter by quarter

Legacy brands, like Hyatt on the other hand, invest in:

โœˆ๏ธ Strategic horizontal expansion
โœˆ๏ธ Diversifying beyond their original niche
โœˆ๏ธ Building adaptable, future-proof business models

Since 2017, Hyatt has:

โœ… Doubled luxury offerings
โœ… Tripled resort properties
โœ… Developed a 127,000-room pipeline
โœ… Created multiple brand collections serving diverse markets

The secret to their success? They don’t just grow vertically – they expand horizontally ๐Ÿ“ˆ

As Peter Drucker said, “The business that doesn’t innovate, dies.” ๐Ÿ’ก

So, are you building a decade business or a century brand? ๐Ÿค”

For a long time, I believed, “Iโ€™m only as good as my team.” But one recent experience made me realise something beyond about leadership.

๐Ÿ’ก I am as good as my team, AND my team is as good as I am.

Leadership isnโ€™t just about guiding- itโ€™s about nurturing. Itโ€™s about enabling your team to reach their potential by sharing your knowledge, values, and experiences. Itโ€™s about empowering them to tackle challenges with confidence.

And hereโ€™s the beauty of it: the more I invest in my teamโ€™s growth, the more they invest in their workโ€”and ultimately, itโ€™s a WIN-WIN!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ†

This interdependence is a powerful cycle:
โœ”๏ธ When they thrive, I thrive.
โœ”๏ธ When I lead better, they perform better.

Leadership isnโ€™t a solo act; itโ€™s a symphony of shared growth. Together,
